elevated 6Qu44 On May 16, 2024, Edith May (Wilkinson) McGuire peacefully passed away with family by her side, two months after celebrating her 96th birthday. One of nine children, the youngest daughter, born on March 14, 1928, in Ottawa, to Mary Ellen (King) and John T. Wilkinson. Predeceased by all her siblings but one, her youngest brother, Ronald G. Wilkinson (Gail), of Ottawa.
elevated 6Qu44 Edie was married to Joseph M. McGuire for over 46 years, prior to his passing in April of 1999. Edie is survived by their five children, Michael (Anne), Jo-Anne (Bill Macina), David (Helen), Douglas (Janice) and James (Marie). Also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
