elevated i9FWF Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 21, 2024 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe. Caring and devoted mother to Gino (Phyllis), the late Lidia, John, and Joe (Ivana). Proud Nonna to Andrea (Mark), Ashley, Cassandra, Luca and Bis Nonna to Paul. Maria will be fondly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends.

Carissimo Joe ti siamo tutti vicini in questo momento così doloroso perdere una madre e doloroso anche se ha cento anni l unica cosa positiva e che credo nn abbia sofferto e se ne andata così senza disturbare si cosa si prova sono contenta di averci parlato nn tanto tempo fa e rimarrà sempre nel mio cuore quello che ci siamo detti con tua madre se ne va un altro pezzo di questa grande famiglia ma noi restiamo in contatto e questo che vorrei ti abbraccio e ti sono vicina😘❤️
. dearest Joe we are all close to you in this moment so painful to lose a mother and painful even if she is one hundred years old the only positive thing is that I don’t think she suffered and she left like that without disturbing you what it feels like I’m happy to have spoken to her not for so long does and will always remain in my heart what we said to each other with your mother, another piece of this big family is gone but we stay in touch and this is what I would like, I hug you and I’m close to you😘❤️
Dearest Gino, Phyllis, John, Joe and Ivana, and all the De Filippis family,
We were all so saddened to hear about the passing of our Great Aunt, Zia Maria. Our hearts go out to all of you during this difficult time.
Looking back on my childhood, Zia Maria holds a special place in my memories, and she will be a deeply missed Mother and Grandmother to all of you.
We find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and has joined our family’s loved ones who have passed before her.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
