Mr. Krevs’ passion for teaching and strong faith left an indelible impression on me. Thank you for preparing me well for university. May you rest in peace with the Lord.
Many of my fondest memories, educational highlights and special teachings are thanks to you Mr Krevs. From your classes to Science Olympics, NASA projects and discussions on cars, you will be remembered fondly. And from how you lived your life and faith we are continually influenced by you. Rest among the angels.
My heart goes out to you Mark and your family but take comfort in knowing that he is in the presence of Jesus, our God, who has prepared a beautiful “dwelling place” for him in His kingdom for leading a very pious life in the service of our Lord. Love Dagmar and Jennifer

He had an enormous impact on my development as a young man and many of those around me, in shaping a love for science, but also a great example of the character of a man to aspire towards. His memory will live on in many Brebeufians.
My Dad will greet him with open arms. A great man that impacted many. We can only wish you strength in the most horrible time – The Clattenburg Family

Mr. Krevs, you’ve left a legacy behind, and you won’t be forgotten. I’m truly thankful to you for igniting my interest in, and understanding of chemistry. Sincere condolences to your family and I know you’re in a very good place right now.
He was one of the most influential teachers. I will always remember my time fondly with him. He not only taught chemistry well and made me like it, he also taught me how to study and how to learn. It was obvious that his love for God was behind why he did his job with love, kindness and compassion. Also I will never forget the time, he saw me stranded in the parking lot when it was -20 degrees and my car wouldn’t start. He got my car to start and I will never forget that. He didn’t have to help and could have just got in his car and act like he didn’t notice. May you rest in peace in the bosom of your Savior. May your memory be eternal. Thank you for all you did for me.

My heartfelt condolences to Cathy, their sons, his mother and extended Krevs family. Rado was very special. He was someone who engaged deeply, honestly and openly with all of us who had the privilege of having a conversation with him. We knew each other from the Manning parish and I always enjoyed the times I would see him and Cathy, years later, at the SSC, the ‘farm”, in Bolton. Rado was unforgettable. I had the utmost respect for him. My heart cries for the family’s loss and the loss to the community.
Rest in peace, dear friend!

Mr. Krevz I never got to say goodbye or to even thank you…
You were among 3 of the teachers (only one in High School) that impacted my life forever. I was passing through a horrible time when I landed in your Grade 12 Chemistry class in 2016. I was missing classes and handing in assignments late. I was not meeting the expectations Other teachers wouldn’t have bothered to look into my situation.
But you did.
You took the time to make me stay after class and care to ask me what was going on. You saw the potential in me that I never saw. We had a conversation on faith. I was not a man of faith, I was enraged at God and you told me that “He never left you”. I will never ever forget that conversation. You taught me to “keep going” and to never leave things unfinished because I wanted to drop out of your class. You called counseling so they could have a word with me, and after that I was able to pick up the pieces and learned the famous “Krevzi method”.
At first, in my mind, I could not assimilate how faith and the hardships of life were intertwined. But after that I would visit the little chapel on the 3rd floor in Brebeuf almost daily before or after classes. I would sit alone and reflect with God. Thanks to you I was able to pass through all those dark times. All thanks to you Mr. Krevz. You didn’t have to go out of your way, but you did and in the process you taught me a life lesson that I reminisce about frequently.
Today I am a Medical Doctor and a semester away from earning my Masters in Epidemiology. In the journey ahead I will always have your teachings at hand. Your academic excellence and the way you prepared everyone for University was extraordinary. I will be there for others like you were for me.
I will always regret not going out of my way to contact you and thank you. May you rest well sir, my condolences for your family and friends, whom I am sure you had a great impact on throughout your life. You will never be forgotten in my memory.
He was my favourite teacher in high school. I credit his teaching and methods for more than adequately preparing me for university, which set the foundation for a successful career in healthcare. For that, I can’t thank him enough.
My deepest condolences to the Krevs family. Wishing you all strength during this difficult time.
