elevated gp6dD Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Louie, after his sudden passing on June 1, 2024, at the age of 56.
elevated gp6dD Louie was a loving husband of 30 years to Nella and a caring and devoted father to Matthew and Adriana. He will be forever missed by his brothers, Giannicola and Santino, his brothers and sisters in law, and all of his nieces and nephews. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved parents, Ferdinando and Angelina.
elevated gp6dD Louie lived a life filled with adventure. He had a passion for the outdoors, spending much of his free time at our family cottage in nature or cycling and hiking with friends. He loved to travel and explore new places – most recently, Louie and Nella embarked on the exciting adventure of moving to the United Arab Emirates.
elevated gp6dD Louie was the foodie and chef of the family. Many of our favorite memories are centered around his home cooked meals. He had a love of learning and passion for education. This, along with his unwavering work ethic, propelled his career, and inspired his children to follow in his footsteps. He was well known by friends and family for his wise advice and kind demeanor.
elevated gp6dD Louie will remain in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Unfortunately, we never had the opportunity to meet Louie in Abu Dhabi, but know that you both were enjoying your adventures there. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Hopefully we will see each other again one day.
Nella and family – this is absolutely heartbreaking news. I worked with Louie for many years. His kindness, his passion for his family and his adventures, and his collaboration and hard work with his colleagues stands out for me. And his great smile. I can’t believe he is gone. I am sending you my most heartfelt condolences. I can only imagine how difficult this is for you, but you are in our thoughts at this most challenging of times.
We were deeply saddened to learn of Louie’s passing.
Our relationship was born via our mutual involvement in the commercial real estate sector. One thing is for certain, Louie was universally respected in the asset class and always carried himself with great care, wisdom and honesty with his co-workers and clients alike.
The marketplace at large trusted Louie and this trust was never broken. Most recently, Louie took the time to welcome my son who recently moved to Dubai. In typical Louie fashion, he offered both guidance and support and gave my son the confidence to move forward in his new world.
We wish to express our sincere condolences to Nella, Matthew, Adriana and his entire family. Louie was an extraordinary gentleman and set the bar high in all respects. I for one will always cherish our relationship.
Please accept my deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Nella and your family.
My deepest condolences to the family…
I had the pleasure of working with Louie at CF for many years.
He was always very kind and helpful. I will remember him fondly.
May the loving memories of Louie help to bring the family solace during this difficult time.
Nella and family, my heart and strength goes out to you all. I am crushed by Louie’s passing. I will miss his guidance, humour, and touching stories of his family told with his endearing fatherly pride. Like many others, he brought me to CF for a rewarding career, for which I will always be grateful, but more importantly his mentoring and friendship.
It was only April that Louie and I sat together at a restaurant in Lisbon, sipping some wine and trading stories of our recent adventures: his new home in the UAE and mine in France. He was clearly a passionate guy who thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, cycling and hiking and spending time with his close friends and family. A warm hearted individual and a true gentleman. My deepest condolences to Nella and family. May the memories of Louie stay warm in your heart.
An unimaginable loss. Louie made friends with everyone he met. My sincere condolences.
I had the pleasure of working with Louie at CF, and was so inspired by his intellectual brilliance paired with kindness, generosity and humility. His example showed many of us how to balance high-calibre professionalism with humanity, and I can imagine that he shared those gifts with his loved ones in so many ways.
Your family is in my thoughts, and I know you will continue to feel his warm presence in your memories.
Louie was a well liked and respected colleague at CF. One of the kindest and most intelligent people in the real estate industry. Please accept my sincere condolences.
I am deeply sorry for your loss. May the many cherished memories you have bring you peace during this difficult time. Louie was a wonderful person, and I feel fortunate to have known and worked with him at CF. He always had a smile and a good story to share. He will be greatly missed by many.
Nella, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I worked with Louie throughout his time at CF on many deals and have lasting memories of many great conversations, times and challenges shared and a lot of laughs. I will remember him mostly for his being such a kind and lovely human. His love for his family shone through every day and his passion for a life well lived, driven by his values will endure. I hope the thoughts of so many colleagues and friends will give you comfort and that time will bring peace.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family at this very sad time. Please accept my sincere condolences. Thinking of you.
Nella and family, with love and remembrance, we share in your sorrow.
Dear: Nella
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
I am so saddened to hear of this news. Louie had started out as a business acquaintance and had developed into a great and long friendship. He was one of the brightest guys I’ve met and always had the ability to make me laugh with his quick and dry wit. I only wish the best for Nella and the kids
Nella, it has very long since seeing you both, but I still remember Louie fondly from our time at Pharma Plus. He clearly left a mark on this world and has been taken too soon. May you and your family find comfort and strength at this difficult time.
We are crushed by Louie’s passing. Our family sends the deepest condolences to Nella, Matthew, Adriana and everyone who knew Louie. There are people some people like, people most people like, and a very small number of people everyone likes. That was Louie. And it wasn’t because he didn’t have opinions, or didn’t voice them. He was brilliant, thoughtful, modest, kind and engaging. I feel ripped off that we only met in late 2021. He chose his words carefully, didn’t pull his punches, and I highly value all of the things he did say to me. We kept in touch from across the world, and our conversations didn’t skip a beat. It was a real treat to get to know him. I will miss Louie.
I was saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Louie. He was a friend, confidant and his reassurance and guidance is something that will forever be treasured. He gifted me with one of the most beautiful life experiences and it is something I will always hold dear. My sincere condolences Nella, Matthew, Adriana and extended family. I wish you healing and peace. Life can change in the blink of an eye, but love is eternal.
Nella, Matthew and Adriana,
We had the pleasure to be neighbors and friends for the past 5 years or so. We were crushed by the news and send our love and prayers to you all. A more gentle, giving and friendly person would be hard to find. The world is a lesser place without Louie.
Sending our love and wishing you strength in these difficult times.
May Louie’s memory be a blessing to you all.
Our heartfelt condolences to Nella, Adriana, and Matthew. We fondly remember Louie. Wishing you much strength at this difficult time.
I was one of Louie’s profs at Schulich when he did his MBA and we stayed in touch thereafter. Louie was a good guy and one I truly enjoyed seeing grow as a human being. He went from being a really bright but somewhat impatient young man who did not suffer fools gladly to a generous, thoughtful, and genuinely kind person. Louie was always happy to contribute to the School, whether as a mentor to students or as guest lecturer, a service he performed at my request several times. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.
Wishing everyone peace in this sudden sadness, especially Louie’s family. My heartfelt condolences.
I am saddened to hear of Louie’s passing. While I hadn’t seen him in years, I remember him fondly. He was kind, funny and an immensely positive person. My heart goes out to Nella and the children. Wishing you peace and the comfort of friends and family at this difficult time.
Nella and family: My deepest condolences to your family. I worked with Louie at CF for years. I admired him and always enjoyed our conversations. He was smart and wise and a person of principles and the utmost integrity. He was empathetic towards others and I saw his kindness and caring in some HR situations we tackled together.
I will never forget how proud he was of his family and how he treasured your time together at the cottage. Above all, no matter what kind of day Louie was having, he always greeted you with a warm and sincere smile. I will forever remember his smile. I hope that your wonderful memories bring you some smiles in the difficult days and months ahead.
I remain shocked and in disbelief that Louie has passed. My heart breaks for you Nella, Matthew, Adriana, family and friends. Louie stood out for a million reasons, but number one, was his kindness. From the start, Louie was modest and sweet, and will cherish the small role I had in bringing you together. Louie will live on through your wonderful children, and everyone who has had the honour and privilege to be in his presence.
I had the privilege of working with Louie in Abu Dhabi. His thoughtfulness and profound understanding of real estate were truly remarkable. His openness to different perspectives and eagerness to engage in meaningful discussions will be deeply missed.
