Michael passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024 with family by his side at the age of 66. Dearly loved husband of Sylvia. Loving brother of Carol Anne (David) Vaughan and brother-in-law of Romana (Brian) Dermody. Wonderful Uncle to Brandon, Andrew, Scott, Rick and Tim. Friend to all. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. In memory of our Michael, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
My Michael! We love you and will miss you! God Bless.
Sending you love, support and our condolences.
Sylvia May the sorrow you feel in your heart lighten by the love that surrounds you.
Michael We will play together again some day “Let’s stump Jimmie”
You are loved
With filled hearts for having been recipients of Mikey’s ever present smile. For having danced in his rhythm. For sharing authentic appreciation of life and the people we meet on that journey. Rest with our gratitude dear friend. Mick and Karen
Just heard of your passing Mike over here on the west coast. You were always a pleasure to be around, big smile on your face and an Incredible sense of humour. You were always a great family friend and loyal man to my father for nearly 50 years. Please watch over us and god speed Mike.
Very sad to hear of Mikey’s passing. Always positive and the brightest smile in the room. The best. Thoughts very much with Sylvia and family.

Very saddened to hear of Mike’s passing….he was a great boss, work colleague, friend, and the host of my retirement gathering in November 2005…….thanks Mike!…..he always had a great positive attitude and that winning smile…..condolences to Mike’s family.
Words cannot express how sad I was to hear of Michael’s passing. Silvia and Carol, my most sincere condolences to you and the family.
I will always remember Mike as an incredibly wonderful person. He was without doubt the best guitar player I ever had the privilege of playing with. Our friendship endured many different bands culminating for me with After Hours-a band with the best of friends both on and off the stage.
I trust that Michael’s memory will be a blessing for his family and friends. It’s certainly will be for me.
Michael, it was a privilege to know you. Although you are lost, you will never be forgotten.
Mike your smile is what i will always remember about you. you we will be missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting you. Yours and Sylvia bond and devotion was truly magical to witness . my deepest condolence’s to Sylvia and your whole family.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. He was a best friend through the school years with countless hours of practicing guitar together and what ever other trouble we could get into. We played together in all the early would-be bands and had a lot of great times. I was also honored to have Mike as the best man at my wedding.
While we drifted apart over the years, when we did see each other, his smile instantly brought back all the memories of good times. He will be deeply missed, and the memories of those times will live on forever.
Our condolences to Sylvia, Carrol Anne and family.
Dearest Sylvia, Our hearts are breaking for you💔
All our love , Linda, Lauren, Jared & Kristen

I am so saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike and I were colleagues at work. We took our coffee breaks in his office most mornings and had lunch many a day. I will always treasure his friendship and my heart goes out to Sylvia and family, We enjoyed watching you and your band. A very talented person. You will be missed my friend.
What can I say. I lost a friend, and a band mate. I met Michael in High school and we immediately hit it off. We would playing guitar in his music room, trying to out do each other. Then later in life he joined our band and it was such a perfect fit and played for years. I am going to miss you brother. May peace be with you.
A great guy. We played music as young men, he was talented and a very knowledgeable band mate. Just a few years ago we reconnected and it was as if we were apart for only a short time. I will truly miss his company. Hope you are playing your guitar in heaven. God bless you Mike.
