Joanne and I send our condolences and loving thoughts to the Vetro family. Mrs. Vetro was an amazing lady we have known for 50+ years. We were always treated with kindness and welcomed with open arms. Truly an amazing lady who fostered love for everyone. When tomorrow starts without me
When tomorrow starts without me
And I’m not here to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me
I wish you wouldn’t cry
The Way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We did not get to say
I know how much you love me
As much as I love you
Each time that you think of me
I know you will miss me too
When tomorrow starts without me
Please try to understand
That an angel came and called my name
And took me by the hand
The angel said my place was ready
In Heaven far above
And That I would have to leave behind
All those I Dearly Love
But When I walked through Heaven’s Gates
I felt so much at home
When GOD looked down and smiled at me
From his golden throne
He said This Is Eternity
And All I promised you
Today for life on Earth is done
But Here it starts a new
I promise no tomorrow
For today will always last
And Since each day’s the exact same way
There is no longing for the past
So When Tomorrow starts without me
Do not think we’re apart
For every time you think of me
Remember I’m right here in your heart
Such a beautiful heart and the biggest smile. She will always be remembered at Edgewater Senior Living. Condolences to this very loving family.
We little knew that morning that God
was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same.
It broke our bearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you bome.
You kit us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one! by one the chain will link us again.
Mom, we will miss you so much but we know now that you are by Dad and Bobby’s side. LOVE YOU MOM
All of our thoughts and prayers go out to the Vetro family and friends during this time. Laura was such a lovely individual who always had a beautiful smile on her face when in company of good friends. Laura was a dear friend and neighbour to many of our reisdents here and she will be deeply missed by all.
Domenic, Mario, Vince, Joe – partners, spouses, grandchildren, the entire Vetro Clan and Lambe family.
My heart goes out to all of you on the loss of Laura Vetro and the role she played in all of your lives as mother, grandmother, sister, aunt etc.
I got to know Mrs. Vetro back in high school and during the 70’s and to mid 80’s we spent some time together. I just had to walk a few blocks and I was at the Vetro household. Mrs. Vetro – she told me to call her Laura (I hope you don’t mind) and her and I would chat and drink tea sometimes for a half hour or even longer. Laura had a great sense of humour, she was self deprecating and was so kind and loving. Everything was about family. We laughed a lot, but we also spent a few sad times together as well.
I remember being at the Vetro’s house and seeing Laura and Domenic Sr. sitting together and holding hands. It just epitomized the respect and love they had for each other – So, so beautiful.
Although your mother is gone she is now eternally with your father.
I am so glad that I was able to know and share some time with your mother and I will always remember her fondly.
Remember
‘To Live In the Hearts We Leave Behind, is not to Die’
Laura will always be with each and every single one of you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love and Hugs, Heidy
RIP Laura. You were are wonderful sweet caring person. My children also remember you and growing up in Lord`s Cove there are many wonderful memories for me too. Be happy in heaven Laura. God bless you.
As a young teen, I grew up across the road from the Vetro clan, and was in and out of their home often. I loved the music nights when the boys would be playing their instruments and I’d join in for a song or two.
With Mrs. Vetro I always felt welcome and a part of the family. Years later sadly, we moved away and I lost contact with them, but Mrs. V always had a special place in my heart, and I thought of her often. I’m so happy that we got reacquainted a couple years ago and I got to see and talk to her again.
Rest in peace, lovely lady. God Bless You!
Dear Dom, Mario, Vince, Joe, Zoltan and Keith and all the family, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved mother. My deepest condolences. I always admired Laura, she was a remarkable woman, a tower of strength and of great faith and love. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to attend the funeral but I did livestream it. It was so beautiful! The lovely music and singing and heartfelt speeches and the photographs brought back such wonderful memories. Your family was always very special to us. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you learn to live without the presence of your Mom, but we all know that her spirit will never leave your side. I send you much love. Rest in peace dear Laura.
