elevated z46Iu Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving brother, and uncle who went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday August 11th. He was surround by family at the time of his passing in the hospital.

Born to the late, Jerry (1986) and Sylvia (2021) Jacobs. Survived by his six siblings, Melanie (Albert), Gerard, Robert, Marianne (Chris), Sylvie, and Randy (Kim). He was the cherished uncle to, Nadine (Garth), Cody, Victoria (David), Katelyn (Marcel), Darryl, Desiree, Brooke, Bradley, Alicia, Steven, Kyle, Gerard, baby Dalton (2002), Jaidan, Kegan, Olivia, Vanessa, and Rylea; Penelope, Marcelina, and Erica (Brian), Brent, Brittany (Cody), Jordan, Jake and loving father figure to Michael (2004).

Words that described Carl, were funny, always had a good sense of humour, always joking around, especially with his nieces and nephews. Compassionate, good hearted always thinking of others and how he could help. He would truly give you the shirt off his back.  A God loving dedicated Christian.

elevated z46Iu Carl was also an accomplished salesman, and installer, for the third generation family owned business B Jacobs and Sons Ltd. which was established in 1927.

Carl had a love for many things, especially his exotic birds, Shabby, Riley, and his most recent sweet loving bird Mango. This by far was his baby, as he would refer to him. Mango’s squawk could be heard from one end of the house to other, and he could mimic Carl’s voice and quotes to perfection.

Carl was also an avid hockey player, for many of his youth, and adult years. He also played matchmaker for his sisters with his teammates. He had a love for music, from Jimmi Hendrix, one of his favorite artists, to The Rolling Stones, and Neil Young to name a few. He even had a secret love for the Latin music our mother raised us on. There was also the fond memory of Carl picking up the guitar playing the infamous “Smoke on the water”.

To say your presence will be missed by many, is an understatement.
