It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Walter Zampolin at home, surrounded by his loving family, on August 15, 2024, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 60 years to Marcella (nee Doucet). Loving father of Diana and Juliana (Rob Foster). Proud Nonno of Taylor and Alexis Foster. Survived by his dear sister Vivian Spagnolo. Walter will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Words cannot express my thoughts and feelings about Walter’s passing. I will keep you all in my prayers.
My condolences to all the family. Take consolation in knowing how others saw Walter. In 32 years of teaching you meet and work with many people. Walter stands out for me as hardworking, caring and always joyful. He related well to all; students, teachers, administrators and colleagues alike. May our Lord welcome him to his eternal home.
Walter was a true professional with a smile and very positive nature. It was a pleasure working with him. May Perpetual Light shine on him!

Walter was a pillar of strength in the early days of Pope John Paul 11. He was hard working and was well liked and respected by both staff and students. Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace Walter.

He sure had a great sense of humour. I enjoyed our phone conversations at work I will miss hearing from him on line. My condolences to his family
