elevated YulA4 Obituary
elevated YulA4 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Tom.
elevated YulA4 Tom was born September 3, 1968, in Osijek, Croatia. He immigrated to Toronto with his parents in 1970, and soon after, they settled in Mississauga, where he enjoyed a happy upbringing.
elevated YulA4 After earning his Civil Engineering diploma, Tom worked for the Region of Peel for several years before joining his father at the family business, G.S. Die & Design, where he dedicated over 30 years to its success.
elevated YulA4 In 2000, Tom met the love of his life, Diana Attento, and they married two years later. Together, they shared a passion for travel, exploring new corners of the globe whenever possible, and when their son was born, they joyfully included him in their adventures.
elevated YulA4 Tom shared a special bond with his son, Adam through music. They could often be found jamming on their guitars or enjoying favorite songs together in the home office-these moments were among his happiest.
elevated YulA4 He was known as an intelligent, humorous, and charismatic gentleman who worked tirelessly for his family. Whenever a challenge arose, he could always be counted on to find a swift resolution.
elevated YulA4 Tom is survived by his wife of 22 years, Diana; his beloved son, Adam; his loving parents, Greg and Ana; his adoring sister, Maryann (Michael); his parents-in-law, Mario and Maria; and his aunt and uncle, Pero and Mira. He will also be dearly missed by his sister-in-law, Angela (Pietro); his lifelong friend and business partner, Steven Zganjer; his nephews and niece, Karlo, Anthony, David, and Eva; along with many friends and extended family.
elevated YulA4 May Tom rest in peace in the Lord’s embrace.
Greg, Susan and I are thinking at you during this time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. We have many great memories of Tom throughout the years.

Dear Diana and Adam,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Our heartfelt sympathies are with you.

Oh dear Igor. We had 45 years of friendship, you and I. We put hundreds of kilometers on our bikes together and we played hundreds of hours of computer games and I don’t know how many quarters we sacrificed to the video arcade. We cheered the Jays onto their first World Series and we played uncounted after school baseball games with the guys. Watching you catch pop flies at waist level was always hilarious. After we grew up and moved away, we saw each other every Christmas and every meeting picked up like we’d seen each other just yesterday. I’ll miss you brother.
What a shock to hear this sad news, Greg I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.
Very sorry for your loss. Tom was my longtime customer and he was a wonderful person. He will be missed. Sending love and prayers to the family.

I have known Igor most of my life as he was a great friend to my brother Vince.
I remember a specific time when I was younger and I was going to get to play baseball with the older guys and Igor and I were waiting in my parents foyer to leave for the diamond. I asked him “Why is your name Igor?” And without missing a beat he said “I don’t know, why do you have a girl’s name?” Then he let out a bit laugh, rubbed my head and said “let’s just go play ball”.
It’s a silly memory but a happy one that makes me smile. I will always remember him as smart, quick witted, funny and with a great laugh.
I hope his family is blessed with lots of happy memories.
Rest in peace.
Diana, Adam and the entire Cacic family. I’m terribly sorry for your loss. May Tom rest in peace and watch over you. Grief is love that has no place to go. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers
Thomas, you will be missed. I enjoyed our conversations very much at St Martin’s and visiting your business as well! You were a great guy! Enjoy heaven buddy!
The Cacic Family.
Words cannot express the sadness we feel for you.
The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memories of Tom shall never pass away.
Wishing you all peace and we hope you can find comfort in your memories.

I offer you hope for the future and the courage to keep going as you live through this difficult time. So sorry for your loss.
I am so saddened to hear of Igor’s passing. I didn’t know him very well, yet I know he will be deeply missed as he was always someone in my life as an important and good friend to my brother, Vince. I remember Igor as a kind, smart, funny guy who was always smiling and who was always nice to me. I will also always remember him as Igor, even though I was there when he became known as “Tom”. May he now rest in peace, and may the family surviving Igor be comforted that he is so fondly remembered. Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences.
Dear Maria, Mario, Diana and Adam,
We know that there is nothing we can say that would ease your pain, but holding onto the good memories from him, can help you to bear this great sadness.
We hope you know that our hearts are with you, grieving alongside you for the loss of our dear Tom.
With deepest condolences to you all and the rest of the family.
Homa and Cyrus
Diana and Adam we are truly heartbroken of Tom’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire families grieving alongside you both. May the Peace of Christ wrap around and comfort you all. May the memories that will flood to mind bring you comfort just knowing God chose you all to be a part of Tom’s life journey that helped and shaped him whom God desired him to be. Rest in the loving arms of Father God Tom.
It came as a great shock for me to learn of Tom’s passing.
I worked with Tom, his dad Greg, Steve senior and Steve junior for many years in the automotive field.
I always admired his proficiency with cad models finding a way to process and build tooling for difficult parts.
He was easy to work with and committed to his family.
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Pete Germann
