It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Coleta (nee Goncalves) on December 25, 2024, at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 81. Reunited with her beloved husband Antonio. Loving mother of Dean (Susan) and Tony (Paula). Proud Avó of Tyler, Daniel, Jacob and Michael. Dear sister of Eulalia and predeceased by siblings Maria, Conceicão and João. Maria will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family (especially her nieces and nephews) and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Estimados Tony, Dean, esposas e hijos llevo una semana pensando como hablar con ustedes. Siento lá necesidad de decirles que Encarnação dió el paso que daremos um dia. Su fisico dejó de sofrir. Ahora estará descansando junto de Deus y da sua geração Peça que esta concluindo su transito por este mundo. . Puedo entender vuestro sentimiento pues já passei por momentos similares. Recuerdem siempre vuestra madre como era de alegre, y todos los momentos buenos que les proporcionó aparte de los valores que les inculcó. De los Peças recebi un esposo cuatro hijos, suegros que foram como padres cuñados, sobrinos, una grande familia. Como muy bien dijeron estará junto de su hijo, sus padres su esposo y sus hermanas Conceição e Maria e el hermanito el mas joven de la familia «o menino dos papelotes» Alli descansará eternamente junto de DEUS y de quien amó. A todos ustedes un abrazo neste momento triste de la separación fisica pero vuestra memória les compensará com el amor recibido y los gratos recuerdos pues todo lo posible por cá fué hecho. Dios les bendiga, tia Maria.
