It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Salvatore Macri on December 26, 2024, at Norfinch Community Care at the age of 90. Reunited with his beloved wife Maria Rosa (nee Piccolo) and dear son Giuseppe. Loving father of Nick (Bernadette). Proud Nonno of Julianna, Anthony and Christian. Salvatore will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Nick, your Dad had a strong will to live, measured by all that he endured during the last few years of his life. You did your Dad and your Mom proud, the way you took care of both of them giving them every fighting chance they had. Salvatore, Maria and Giuseppe are all in heaven now, looking over everyone! Remember they will always be with you and your family, to protect all of you!! God bless Salvatore on his journey to heaven. He will be missed! I will never forget when we first met over 35 years ago!! God Bless!!
Caro Zio riposa in pace nelle mani del nostro Padre. Noi ti vorremo sempre bene.
Nick and Bernadette, our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. You are in our thoughts and prayers and always remember that whenever you look into the eyes of your children you are seeing a bit of your father. For he will forever live on in them…take comfort in knowing that he will never truly die.
I remember Salvatore as a young girl and as an adult. His kindness and warm for others was always evident. He offered to help me with work to be done at my home. My father,Nicodemo Fazzari, considered him a trusted friend for many years.May his family’s memories support them at this time of loss. May he rest in peace!
