It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Anna Menna in her 91st year on December 28th , 2024. She was born on November 14th , 1933 in Roccomarice, Pescara, Italy to Rinaldo and Domenica DiGiovanni (nee Pietrangelo).
elevated d2f2W She is predeceased by her beloved husband Biase Menna (passed May 31, 2023). Devoted and loving mother of Julia (Bruno) DiPaolo, Fiorella (Joe) Carnovale and Gino (Leanne) Menna. Cherished Nonna to Teresa (Rick), Rita (Takeshi), David (Elisa), Paul (Julie), Daniel (Natasha) and Timothy. Adored Bisnonna to Enrique, Isabella, John, Sarah, Marina, Hannah, Peter and Stacy.
elevated d2f2W A dedicated mother and wife, Anna poured her heart into her family, offering unconditional love and unwavering support. She was the pillar of strength for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her family was the heart of her world.

To Julia,Bruno .Fiorella Joe, Gino, Leanne. My deepest condolences for your mon. She is one aunt I will never forget. Growing up and living with her and her family on Benson will be a memory I will never forget. I loved her for who she was. She was a very strong willed person and took no bull and spoke her mind, which I will never forget. I loved the monthly phone calls I had with her. Will cherish forever.

Zia Anna(Za Anin) as we called her. I have many memories from my younger years spent with Za Anin at her house. In those days I would frequent her house with my mom her youngest sister Rosie (Rosalia) I found her to be very funny and her abruzzese dialect always killed me. Her calzone were the best and I remember she would always fill them with la bietola. She would call them (Le cawachanil con la biod). I always looked forward to them. As we get older life takes people in different directions but we never forget our formidable early days. Like branches on a tree we may grow in different directions but our roots remain the same.
