Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Angelo Antonio Vettese on January 11, 2025, at North York General Hospital at the age of 92. He is now reunited with his dear son, Bruno and many family members that have gone before him.
Beloved husband of Concetta (née Marano), with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Loving father of Silvia (Mark), Aldo (Susie), and the late Bruno (Marilyn). Proud Nonno of Michael (Danielle), Christopher (Caitlin), Michelle (Hunter), Lia, and Matteo. Cherished Bisnonno of Luca and Sienna. Loving brother of Genoeffa Vettese. Predeceased by his brothers Carmen, Peter, and Stefano, and his sister Concetta.
Angelo Antonio arrived in Toronto in 1957 and built a beautiful life through hard work, determination, and an unparalleled work ethic.
We will deeply miss his quick wit, and his no-frills, common-sense approach to life. A special thank you to the Richmond Hill Italian Social Club for bringing joy and companionship into his later years, helping him stay active and entertained despite his medical challenges.
Angelo Antonio will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
Your thoughts and kindness are truly appreciated during this time of sorrow.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Angelo Antonio can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Caro zio sei stata una persona amabile e cordiale che si è fatto sempre voler bene. Sono stato felice di essere stato insieme a mia madre Genoveffa tra le ultime persone a sentire le tue ultime parole.
