elevated x41vL Obituary
elevated x41vL It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Kameel Kleman Kamil Shamany, who peacefully left us on January 12, 2025, at the age of 72.
elevated x41vL Born on September 27, 1952, in Basra, Iraq, Kameel was a man of unwavering faith, boundless charm, and remarkable resilience. His passion for life and his ability to connect with others will be remembered by all who knew him. Kameel had a deep love for music, which was an integral part of his life. As a devoted member of a band, he found great joy in bringing together family and friends to celebrate through music and dance at his many gatherings. His infectious energy, selflessness, and warm, outgoing personality made him a cherished presence in every room.
elevated x41vL Kameel is lovingly remembered by his wife, Nehad Ghareeb; his children, Albert, Noor (Pablo), and Waseem (Sabrina); and his granddaughters, Chloe and Alessia, who were the light of his life; as well as his beloved aunts, Suham, Shariti, Naila, and Samira Shamany. He is also deeply missed by his extended family, including cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends whose lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and love.
elevated x41vL The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bigham and the ICU team at Scarborough General Hospital for their exceptional care and support during Kameel’s final days.
elevated x41vL May his soul rest in peace and his memory live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
John 3:16
