Nicola “Nino” was born to late Giovanni and Rafaella Giordano on August 16, 1958 in Valenzano, Bari, Italy. On February 11, 2025, Nino passed away peacefully at the age of 66 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia.
elevated BduW6 Accompanied by his parents and brothers, Nino left Italy in the mid-1960s at the age of 9 for Canada in search for a better life. Upon arriving, he continued his education, immediately worked in a shop making plaster mouldings and ceiling medallions, and later worked in construction. Nino met the love of his life Josie and they married in 1986. After sustaining a knee injury, he was forced to change fields and worked as a Night Clerk at Loblaws.
elevated BduW6 Nino is survived by his children Johnny (Christina) and Michele (Mark). He was the proud Nonno to Gianluca and Dalia. Nino is predeceased by his beloved wife Josie, and brothers Angelo (Carrie) and Frank. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews in both Canada and Italy.
elevated BduW6 Nino will be forever remembered by many relatives and friends. Despite being a man of few words, he loved and was immensely proud of his family, particularly his sons and leaves behind many beautiful memories. He will be truly missed and his memory will live forever in our hearts.

Johnny, Christina, Michele, Mark, Gianluca and Dalia, our deepest condolences. Know that he loves you all so much. He was just tired and wanted to be with your Mom/Nonna. His guardian wings will forever be watching over you all always.
We will miss his great smile and stories.
