elevated CHDHQ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sonia Iaizzo at the age of 68 in Richmond Hill surrounded by the love of her family. Sonia was born on August 14th 1956 in Toronto to Paolo and Irene Favero (nee Francini). Sonia will be dearly missed by her mother Irene, sister Marcie, brother-in law Michael and nephew Bobbie. Beloved wife and partner for over 50 years to Dino Iaizzo, loving and caring mother of Rita (Jon), Michelle (Denis) and Paul (Gema) an incredibly proud Yaya to Jacob, Xander, Jaxon, Julian and Phoenix. She will be dearly missed by her mother-in-law Olinda, sister-in-law Mariaelena, Nigel and her nieces Naomi and Kylie.
elevated CHDHQ A whole-hearted wife and mother, Sonia poured her heart into her family, offering love and unwavering support. She found great strength in the love for her family and demonstrated incredible resilience through a long battle with cancer. Sonia’s warm smile and contagious laughter will be sadly missed. Memories of her will be held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass at the Chapel of St. Joseph: Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 1:30 pm. Private cremation to follow.
