A devoted servant of God, a dedicated family man, and a pillar of faith and service, he leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and unwavering trust in the Lord.

## **A Life of Faith, Service, and Dedication**
### **Early Life and Education**
Born on **June 26, 1945**, in Ranni, Kerala, Mr. Job Abraham was the beloved youngest son of **V.C. Job and Annamma**. He pursued his early education at **MSC LP School, Ranni**, and later completed his high school education at **SC High School, Ranni**.
### **Service to the Nation – A Distinguished Military Career**
With a heart full of patriotism, Mr. Job Abraham answered the call of duty by joining the **Indian Army**, serving honorably in the **First Artillery Division in Madras**. Throughout his esteemed career, he was stationed across the country, including **Madras, Pune, Mumbai, Jhansi, Gwalior, Nagpur, Jammu & Kashmir, Meerut, Raiwala,** and ultimately, **Delhi**.
Rising to the rank of **Havildar (Sergeant)**, he exemplified leadership, discipline, and unwavering dedication. His responsibilities included overseeing military operations, mentoring junior soldiers, and ensuring the nation’s security. His service in **Jammu & Kashmir**, one of India’s most challenging military regions, was a testament to his bravery and commitment.
After decades of dedicated service, he retired in **1993**, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, patriotism, and honor.

## **A Devoted Servant of the Catholic Church**
Mr. Job Abraham was a man of deep faith, living his life in full devotion to the teachings of the **Catholic Church**. After retirement, he dedicated himself to **serving the Church**, actively participating in various ministries and playing an instrumental role in the **Syro-Malankara Catholic Church** both in India and Canada.
### **Roles and Contributions in the Church**
– **Main Altar Servant** – Serving with reverence in liturgical celebrations.
– **Church Secretary and Treasurer** – Ensuring the smooth functioning of **Christ the King Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, Chethomkara** through dedicated administrative leadership.
– **MCYM Animator** – Guiding and mentoring the youth to grow in faith and service.
– **Pastoral Council Secretary** – Playing a crucial role in the **rebuilding and expansion** of the church, ensuring its future strength.
– **Catholic Convention Secretary (Ranni)** – Organizing faith-centered events to bring the community together.
– **Bodhana Secretary (Ranni Unit)** – Strengthening faith education and outreach programs.
– **Active Service in the Archdiocese of Thiruvalla** – Supporting various ministries and initiatives to spread the Gospel.
His **service to the Church** was not just a duty but a **calling**. He firmly believed in Christ’s words:
*”Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”* (Mark 10:43)
Even after immigrating to Canada in 2019, he remained deeply engaged in the **Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, Toronto**, standing as a **pillar of faith, unity, and Christian fellowship**. His home was a place of prayer and hospitality, embodying the Biblical truth:
*”As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”* (Joshua 24:15)

## **Family and Loved Ones**
Mr. Job Abraham was blessed with a loving and God-fearing family. He was married to **Mrs. Aleyamma Abraham** (Cherukulanji Karimpinamannil family), sister of the **late Most Rev. Abraham Karimpinamannil Ramban**. Their marriage was a testament to **faith, love, and dedication**.
Together, they raised a wonderful family who continue his **values and legacy**:

## **A Faithful Journey Completed**
On **April 4, 2019**, Mr. Job Abraham received **Permanent Residency** in Canada. Though he lived in a new land, his heart remained deeply rooted in the **Syro-Malankara Catholic Church** and the faith he cherished.
His **earthly journey came to a peaceful end** on **March 1, 2025**, as he **entered into eternal rest** in the presence of the Lord. His life was a **testament to faith, humility, and service**—a life lived for Christ and His Church.
We take solace in the promise of Christ:
*”I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”* (John 11:25)
May his soul rest in **eternal peace**, and may the Lord **comfort his grieving family and friends** during this time of loss.
