elevated 1TiVR Obituary
elevated 1TiVR Ada passed away very peacefully at the age of 88. She was kind, sweet, loving, polite and respectful with everyone she ever came across. Even as her illness took a greater toll, she remained a lady right to the end. Ada was a living example of the phrase “I am woman, hear me roar”. She got her driver’s license at a time when very few immigrant women of her generation did. Inspiring so many others that she was close to, to do the same. She had her own business at home working as a seamstress while raising a family in the early seventies and when her children were finally all in school full time, she started to earn extra money working outside the home again while still maintaining the home business. She was a stunning example to all her children of hard work, perseverance, ingenuity and relentless energy.
elevated 1TiVR She joins her husband, Giovanni, of 63 years to have their nightly espressos (cold espressos in the summer) in heaven. She will be missed beyond description by her children Raffaele, Fiorella and Mario, Anna and Len. She will be especially missed by her grandchildren (or in her words “puppetti”) Thomas, Megan, Lucas and Emma and will forever occupy a part of their hearts. They secretly loved the showers of affection, and her constant and endless supply of kisses. She would tell anyone who listened that they lit up her world and gave her the greatest happiness she ever knew. She adored and will be affectionately remembered by her sister in law Bianca, predeceased by her sisters Amelia and Rosa, her sister in law Antonietta, her brothers in law Lucido, Luigi, Vincenzo and Antonio. She very much loved her nieces and nephews and adored her great nieces and great nephews. She always enjoyed her trips to Buffalo to visit the family members that she treasured. For those she called friends, she loved and cared about you and always appreciated you.
elevated 1TiVR In her final years she was under the care of the staff in Noble’s Corner at Sherwood Court where she received an exceptional level of care. We would like to thank Dr. Anita and the entire staff for watching over her and always accepting her affection and constant hugs. She felt your caring natures and love and so did we. Our gratitude to you all, goes beyond mere words.
elevated 1TiVR If you would like to make a donation in Ada’s honour, the family has suggested the Alzheimer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society.

My deepest condolences to you all. I remember your Mom very fondly. Memories of working with Signora Ada at the little clothing boutique at Keele and Sheppard, many many years ago, brings a smile to my face. Heaven definitely has gained another angel. She was such a kind and special woman. I wish you all comfort and peace during this time. May she rest in peace.
Buon cammino cara zia Ada! Continuerai a vivere per sempre nel mio ❤️
Mamma, ti penso spesso, mi mancerai sempre.
