elevated 08VPD It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adel at the age of 69 in Toronto surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Alla (nee Rozenker) and loving father to George and Susan. Coming from a large family, he was an uncle and brother to many including Fr. Elias Chachati. He was the most hospitable and always made the house feel like a home to friends and family alike. He always had a positive outlook on life and his happiness and laughter was infectious. He always used to say that “everything will be okay,” and even in the most dire of moments, he was able to overcome any obstacle. We want to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Hospital for their compassion and their efforts. We are fortunate to have had him in our lives. He left a positive impact on everyone he encountered and he will be dearly missed.

Uncle Adel was a kind, and loving uncle. He had a great sense of humour. He loved family and valued his relationship with them. He kept in touch with the family in Lebanon and often invited us to visit him in Canada. He was very close to my mother. We love him and will miss him greatly. May his soul rest in peace.

When I first met Susan and her family I was very impressed by how nice, cheerful and happy Adel always looked. He was very inspiring to me for his take on life and his love for family. Always so kind and positive, Adel and Alla raised two great kids, nw adults who will now carry on with his legacy and values. My deepest condolences from our all of us!
