It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alberto Battaglini. Beloved husband of Antonietta for 62 years. Beloved father to Deflina (Giorgio) Battaglini-Caraccia, Gaetano ( Mary Ann), Anthony (Marisa) and Alberto Jr. (Siriana). Beloved Nonno to Ezio (Carlos) Caraccia-Pinedo, Sara ( Daniele) Caraccia-Massaro, Ashley, Serina, Bianca , Nicholas and Gian-Luca. Bisnonno to Leonardo.
He was predeceased by his cherished parents, Delfina , Gaetano Battaglini
Alberto will be remembered for his passion of his Italian Heritage, pride of being Canadian, sense of humor, strong work ethics, excited fan of wrestling and other sports and playing with his Italian Cards. His love for his family, friends and life inspired him to keep strong through his battles. We will miss his entertaining stores of his life.
Due to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding COVID-19, a private service will be held on Saturday April 2020 at 12:00 p.m. The service will be webcast from the chapel. Should you wish to be invited to the webcast, please contact the family for information.
