elevated 3DRdE With her heartbroken family by her bedside, Alda our loving, compassionate, shining light passed away peacefully on September 9th after a courageous 5 year battle of illness. She faced her challenges with unmatched grace, strength, and unbreakable spirit; leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that touched all who knew her.
elevated 3DRdE Born on January 13, 1980, Alda was a devoted wife and mother. She was cherished by her family and friends for her radiant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering strength. Her compassionate nature and dedication profoundly impacted her colleagues at Toronto Western hospital where she served with distinction on the Orthopaedic inpatient unit for 25 years. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who worked alongside her.
elevated 3DRdE Alda had a deep passion for interior design, transforming every space she touched into a warm and welcoming haven. She found peace in her garden where she nurtured life with the same care and dedication she gave to her family and friends. An enthusiastic baker, she filled her home with the delightful aromas of freshly baked goods, often sharing her treats with loved ones.
elevated 3DRdE Believing deeply in holistic practices and healthy living, Alda was known for her commitment to nourishing the body and soul. She embraced natural remedies and healthy eating, always eager to share her knowledge and inspire others to live more balanced and mindful lives.
elevated 3DRdE Although her time with us was far too short, Alda’s love and light will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be reunited with her beloved parents, Angelo Dias and Maria Lucinda Dias. She leaves behind her husband of 10 years Leo Wahid, son Daniel, sister Isabel (Wilmar), niece Sabrina, nephew Ryan, cousins Cecilia (João), Alex, Jorge, Filomena (Ricardo), Inês, Goreti, Aunts Madalena (predeceased Antonio), Isilda (Manuel), Alice, along with many other family members that live abroad; and dear friends.
elevated 3DRdE Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10am at Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga. Visitation to be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 4pm-8pm
elevated 3DRdE In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or flowers can be sent to Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
