Dear Al
From the moment we met, you inspired me to delve into the complexities of the human mind. As a result, I’ve come to appreciate my family and friends even more deeply.
Even though I knew memory could be unreliable, your big smile when I opened the front door was enough to show me that you recognized your “male friend” had come. You can’t imagine the profound impact and lessons you’ve had on me. I’ll forever appreciate being your companion male friend during the weekends.
Even now, I find myself questioning whether it was right or wrong, fair or unfair, to have been the last person to have contact with you. All I can say for certain is that it was truly an honor.
Rest in peace, my beloved friend.
Joel and I are very saddened, and feel lucky we had the pleasure of meeting your father. We send our love and deepest sympathies for you and loved ones
Dear Heather, Earl., Christina, Bob and family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was such a wonderful man who always had a smile. May he rest in peace and his memory live on with all of you.
Uncle Al, as kids, we couldn’t have had a better uncle – so much fun over summers, and in the pool at Janus Ct, though you scared the heck out of me warning me not to touch the sauna rocks. I was terrified to go near them! You will be greatly missed. Love you.
A gentleman, a neighbour, a friend, a warm smile, and a kind soul.
Rest In Peace Mr. Powell.
Condolences to Heather and Christina, Mrs. Powell, your family, friends and neighbours.
With Love,
