Dear Karen, Suzanne, Robert and Karlene, and also Aunt Gloria and family,
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Aunt Alice to you and to all the Wee Tom family. She was a wonderful lady and, from the years I have known her, she was always smiling and cheerful, and very caring. My siblings and I were very close to Aunt Gloria and the late Uncle Eddie growing up in Jamaica, and they used to take us on outings with Aunt Alice and Uncle P, and also to Gregory Park. Those were some of the fun and memorable days of my childhood.
She lived a good, long life, even though, from when she was in her seventies, whenever I saw her, she would say to me…”I am an old lady now!” 🙂
She has now finally gone to reunite with Uncle P so that they can continue on their next journey together in Heaven.
May she rest in peace.
Shirley and Mark, we appreciate your thoughts. Thank you for sharing your memory of Mum.
Dear Karen, Suzanne, Bobby & Karlene,
Our deepest sympathy to you all for the passing of Tygoo.
Your Mom was a very special Aunt and a very caring and kind person. Dale will always remember how she and your Dad opened up your home to him and allowed him to live with you when he was attending college in Jamaica. She made him feel very welcome and treated him like a part of her family.
She was a very friendly and cheerful person who was always willing to help in any way she could.
We miss her dearly, but we know that she is happy now in Heaven with Uncle P.
Rest in peace, Tygoo.
Dale and Jen, your words and thoughts are much appreciated. I remember fondly when Dale lived with us. Mum and Dad had this way of welcoming others into our family, and those that appreciated it always remembered, regardless of time and distance.
Unconditional love is what I remember and cherish the most about Tygoo. Always there with a helping hand, being there always. She was so enduring and wonderful who many shall follow…giving, loving, smiling always. Will miss you dearly Tygoo. You leave a path to pure goodness.
