It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelina Ricci on March 31, 2024, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Alberto. Caring and devoted Mother to Tony (Bev) and Roger. Proud Nonna to Julianne (Darren), Robert (Kari), Christina, Darren, Christopher and Amanda, and Bis Nonna to Alisha, Katelyn, Cameron and Abigail.
elevated vcMh9 Angelina left Pisterzo, Italy, for Canada with her two young sons in 1952. She traveled for three weeks across the Atlantic Ocean on the ship “Saturnia” and joined her Husband to start their lives together as a family in Toronto, Ontario.
elevated vcMh9 Angelina enjoyed singing in the choir of the Pisterzo Social Club. She was an avid gardener, tending to her vegetable garden well into her 90’s. She enjoyed knitting and cooking. Her home made lasagna was a family favourite. Angelina will be remembered in the hearts of many family and friends.

My Zia didn’t read or write but she was one of the smartest women.
Always great advice given with love.
I will think about you often,
Rina
Zia Angelina. I remember all the wonderful times we had when I was a little girl. You put ribbons and rollers in my hair and just plain loved me and always made me feel loved and special. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope you my Mom Fiorina and Aunt Clara are all reunited now in heaven and can sing your beautiful Italian songs in harmony like you used to.
Love you
Franca, Fred, Natalie

May she rest in eternal peace…Love and Blessings, John, Anita, and Family

Angelina, my neighbour our friend. Always smiling and saying “hi thomaso” from across the street as she was outside doing something with her rose bushes or just cleaning her flower beds so they looked perfect! We will all miss your smile and warm heart, keep smiling down on us now that you are with Roberto:) love John, Angela and Tom Maounis.
My dearest Angelina I already miss you.
Who will wave at me when I go out?
You were the first to greed me every time I flew home and the last to wish me well before I left.
You have been the heart of our heart always smiling with a nice greeting
You taught me gardening and Italian cooking; over the past 40+ years you kept an eye out for Tom and Aphrodite if they were your own. I pray that you are united with Alberto and free of pain and sorrow. I feel lucky to have had you in my life my dear friend. May God Bless you and put you in a good place. Thank you for everything and forgive me if I hurt you in any way.
Love Angela Maounis
To Roger and family:
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sharing in your sadness and praying for you during this difficult time.
Angela
Angie was my neighbour for many years. At this time of the year, until she was over 90 years old, I would see her out digging up her vegetable garden, getting ready to plant. Then , in time, the aroma of her pasta sauce cooking would waft over to my side of the fence! What a wonderful long life she had.
My thoughts and prayers are with Roger and family at this sad time
My deepest sympathy to the Ricci family
