It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Anna Rita (Anita/Anna) Missori (nee Ciurlia), surrounded by her loving family, on May 13, 2024.
elevated DgJH8 Anna will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her tremendous strength, courage, and generosity of heart by her beloved husband, Sante of 25 years; her dear parents Antonia and Rocco (deceased 2010) Ciurlia; her loving stepchildren, Patrick (Marina ) and Milena (Fred); cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Vanessa, Giulio and Cristina; loving siblings, Enza (Peter) and Dan; Adored Zia to her many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and loving sisters-in- laws and brothers-in-laws. She will also be sadly missed by her extended family and dear longtime friends.
elevated DgJH8 Our thanks to all the healthcare professionals involved in providing compassionate and supportive care to Anna over the course of her long illness with pancreatic cancer. May the winds of Heaven blow softly, and whisper so you will hear. How much we will always love and miss you, And wish that you were here. We love you to the Moon and Back!
elevated DgJH8 Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 2-6 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home Archdiocese of Toronto (211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario). The Funeral Mass will be held inside the funeral home’s Chapel of St. Joseph on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home at 10:30 AM. In Memory of Anna Rita Missori, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My heart broke today when you left me my best friend. I didn’t want you to go but I did not want you to suffer anymore, you showed me faith and strength beyond belief !! You were amazing! I will miss our long distance call visits vacations just you my beastie!!
