elevated tDxq0 Obituary
elevated tDxq0 It is with deep loss that we share the news that Anthony (Tony) Umberto Di Mauro, passed away peacefully of natural causes at home on July 31st, 2024. Tony is survived by his loving wife Rosalee, his children Albert (Suzanne), Richard (Melissa), Marisa, and his adored grandchildren Anthony, Madeleine, Matthew, Julia and Michael.
elevated tDxq0 Anthony had a good life and was happiest when surrounded by family. He loved to work and make an impact; whether at his business, at home, the cottage or at his kids’ houses, he wanted to help, support and be of value. One of his greatest joys was being at the cottage with his family, when he had everyone under one roof…and could fix almost anything.
elevated tDxq0 Born during World War 2 in England, he travelled to Canada at the age of 22, where he met his lifelong love Rosalee and raised a family. Despite leaving his family and the place he grew up, he regularly visited and his family was always in his heart.
elevated tDxq0 He will be remembered for his untiring work ethic, love of travel and adventure, being quick to laugh, and deep devotion to his family. He found joy speaking with people, food, wine, history and anything motorized, particularly cars.
elevated tDxq0 Tony will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but leaves behind an abundance of memories, stories and lessons that will be forever cherished. While managing a successful career and business, his legacy is his family…despite the ups and downs, the bonds and his love were unbreakable.
elevated tDxq0 In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with his desire to help others, the family asks that you consider donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
