elevated uP9FV Obituary
elevated uP9FV It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother Antonino (Nino) Oliva. God called onto Nino on March 18, 2022 and he passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer, at the age of 65 in his beloved city of Rome. Cherished son of the late Giovanni and Mary Oliva. Beloved brother of Gianna (Stan Oziewicz) and Paola (John Hong). Dearest Uncle to Alessia, Stefan and Sofia. And proud owner of his beloved dog Tiko. Nino followed his dream and lived a full and rich life in Italy. He will be missed by his family and by his many friends and acquaintances both here and in the beautiful country he called home for 40 years. May he rest in peace.
Oceans apart never separate true, childhood friends. My memories of our friendship will never be forgotten. Oh, the fun we had. Rest In Peace my dear, loving friend.
Nino was and always will be in my heart. He and I were very close during our high school years. We kept in touch as much as we could and I will always remember his keen sense of humour, his beautiful blue eyes and his gigantic smile. I spoke to him a little while before his passing, and I am forever grateful for those moments. Rest In Peace dear Nino. You are among the angels now. You will always be in my heart and thoughts. Love you forever. Nikki
Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are extended to the entire family as you lay your beloved Nino to rest. Treasured childhood memories of summers spent in Toronto always include Nino. He would have us all laughing at our make shift talent shows and was the master mind of many a prank call. He was a kind, gentle, loving soul who will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in a well deserved peace.
Love, Anne Marie
