We are deeply saddened to announce that Antonio Castro-Antunes passed away at the age of 82.
He is survived by his daughter, Lucy (Frank), and his grandchildren Christopher (Alyssa), Corey, Chelsey (Justin), and Calvin (fiancée Anna). He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Christian and Gabriel. Antonio is further survived by his siblings Luzia, Joao, and Jose, as well as his two sisters in Portugal, Conceicao and Maria Conceicao.
Antonio immigrated to Canada in pursuit of better opportunities for himself and his family. Together with his late wife, Maria Gertrudes, he worked diligently in their construction cement business in London, Ontario. Their hard work and dedication built a strong foundation for their family’s future.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Antonio had a passion for collecting coins and antiques. He also enjoyed hunting and took great pride in breeding purebred German Shepherd dogs.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
