It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Antonio Santagada on July 8, 2023, at the age of 83.
elevated T0m7Q Beloved husband of 60 years to Rita. Caring and devoted father to the late Maria Teresa, Frank (Diane), Carlo (Janet) and Antonella (the late Armando). Proud Nonno to Anthony, Juliano, Julia, Nicholas, Angelo, Celina and Samantha.
elevated T0m7Q One of Antonio’s passions was enjoying the outdoors, he loved to go out on the lake for a day of fishing or heading out into the forest for a hunting expedition, where he also enjoyed another passion… which was to cook; you could request any dish as long it was a pasta dish. His famous pasta dishes were enjoyed by all that were in his presence. Antonio also loved to socialize, especially in a game of cards with all his brother in-laws, where we would all witness his competitive spirit. Although, it was said that Antonio’s greatest social gift was the ability to craft the perfect toast for any occasion on a whim.

It is with broken hearts that we write this note.

What a great guy our Big “T” was. Always making us laugh and making those brinsi’s…so gr8888888.
He will always be remembered in my life, growing up with him, teaching me to drive, taking me fishing and a million other things we did and talked about over the years.
We will miss him terribly. Thanks for all the memories Big “T”. you will always be remembered as “unique” and “special”

To a dear friend and mentor who was always looking out for us in the TTC. Tony was one of my honorary dads who was always there for us. Especially me. He had the heart ❤️ of a lion helping all whose English was not so good. Tony the Lawyer is how many of us remember him as. Loved hunting and fishing. He made my very first sheepskin jacket where he welcomed me into his home. I remember bringing his mom in Italy a gift from him. I went to his home town of Piani grate near cellara. I am truly blessed to have him in my life, he was an inspiration to many. I will always love ❤️ you aka Uncle Tony. My mentor, adopted dad and friend. I am eternally thankful for all of your wisdom and support. God bless you, he has a special place for you in heaven.
