elevated 3RUXn It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Augusta de Souza on Tuesday January 9, 2024. Beloved wife (Pinky) to the late Damian de Souza. Loving mother to Maggie (Trevor), Christina (Gilbert) and Marina (Gordon). Grandmother to Stuart (Erica), Andrew (Diana), Andrea (Sadeeq), Tracy (Frank), Alexandra, Danielle, Alicia and Olivia. Cherished Great-Grandmother to Logan, Dylan, Noah, Jasmine and Weston.
elevated 3RUXn Mum looked forward to her time with family and friends. Throughout the years she enjoyed holidays with Dad to Goa, Brazil, St. Lucia and Mexico to name a few. She spent her days busy with activities at the Retirement Residence, and made many friends there. She was an advocate for those who didn’t have a voice. Always outgoing and full of spirit, she made sure everyone was smiling.
elevated 3RUXn The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Richmond Hill Retirement Residence for their exceptional care and support.
elevated 3RUXn In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in memory of Augusta to the Heart and Stroke Foundation

Dear Family de Souza.
My heartfelt sympathy on the death of Augusta. I had lots of fun with her arranging our mobility bus transfer to SMI. In order to attend weekly Mass together. I miss her as she was a very giving of herself lady. I would very much like to attend her funeral mass at a later date. A bright light has gone out at RHRR. God’s blessings on all of you.
Dear Maggie, Marina, Christina and family,
It is with great sadness that we received the news of your mother’s passing.
Augusta was such a good and loyal friend to Tony and myself. We enjoyed each other’s company on many occasions. We will miss her dearly.
May God the Father who called her home, bless your family, and may His Eternal Light shine upon Augusta, may she rest in peace, my Buddy
Love,
Tony and Elvira
Sincere condolences to the family, especially Chris, Gilbert, Andrea, and Tracy Carvalho.
