Beni Vigliatore
May 12, 1972- April 27, 2024
elevated OYNqQ Suddenly and sadly, Beni (known as Little Beni) passed away peacefully at his home at the young age of 51. A beloved son and uncle who was adored by everyone he met, is survived by his loving father Francesco and mother Franca (deceased), his older brother Andre, sister Giulia (Giulio) and his half-sister Jessica. He is also survived by his much loved niece and nephews Alexandria, Luca, Andrew, Antonio and Adam.
elevated OYNqQ Born in Toronto, Beni and his family lived both in the city and in Calabria, Italy to make a better life for themselves, until they finally settled in Woodbridge. He was a kind hearted and peaceful man who loved everyone who came into his life and provided so much comfort and hope to anyone who needed it. Beni’s heart was so beautiful and kind and he lived his life with open arms, cherishing his family most of all.
elevated OYNqQ He was always cheerful and happy, making sure whoever was around him shared that beautiful energy. Beni was devoted to his passion of martial arts which he studied until the end of his life and he was referred to as the family “Kung Fu Panda” by his niece (Alexandria) and nephew (Luca). Throughout his life he was also devoted by a strong faith going to St. David’s Parish, where he would selflessly make offerings and pray for anyone he loved or who needed it. Most of all he was always so happy to be surrounded by his family and looked forward to any chance to get together and when in his company you would feel the immense love he had for us all.
elevated OYNqQ Beni will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered as someone who cared for many and did not ever ask for anything in return. A celebration of Beni’s light that went out far too soon, will be held at Holy Cross Funeral Home (221 Langstaff Rd. E, Thornhill) on Thursday May 2nd from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 3rd at the Chapel of St. Joseph (211 Langstaff Rd. E, Thornhill) at noon. His entombment is to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St. Thornhill).
elevated OYNqQ As mental health is something Beni sadly suffered with for many years within his life but gladly managed well, if so desired in lieu of flowers, kindly make donations on Beni’s behalf to the Canadian Mental Health Association. https://cmha.ca/
Sadly missed, never forgotten. Beni always had a smile on his face since Grade 5. Test in Peace Brother
