elevated ptBXf Buenaventura (Ben) Galvez passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband to Modesta for 60 years.
elevated ptBXf Loving Father to Alfred (Diane), Ben John, Karina (Victor), and Andrew (Tran). Adored Grandfather (Lolo) to Matthew, Eric, Mateo, Melissa, Michael and Aris. Loving Brother to the late Federico Jr., to the late Maria Fe Sanchez, to the late Renato, Maria Nenita Marbella, Jesus, Maria Elena Palileo, Victor, Maria Isabel Galvez, and the late Maria Luisa Balguma. Loyal Brother in-law to Dr. Inocencio Ligon (Leonida), to the late Miguel (Mike) Ligon (Zenaida), Sister Mary Pacita Holy Spirit Adoration, Convent of Divine Love and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
elevated ptBXf Born in Iloilo, Philippines. He has Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines and Masters of Science Degree from the University of Panjab. He is a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of Ontario.
elevated ptBXf He will be dearly missed by all. The Family will especially miss his wisdom, his loving and kind heart, his calm temperament, ingenuity and infectious smile. We are all blessed to have his love as Husband, Dad, Lolo, Brother, Uncle and Friend.

I remember Ben from our weekend retreats at the Manresa Jesuit Retreat Centre in Pickering where I would attend annually with my Father in Law, Miguel Alba and I always looked forward to seeing Ben there. Ben was a lovely man – a kind and gentle soul who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered!
