Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear father on December 21, 2024 at the age of 90 years. Born on April 16, 1934 in Archi, Sicily, Italy, to parents Nicola and Domenica Isgro. Reunited with his loving wife Palma. Loving father to Nicola (Tamela) and Domenica (Rosalbino). Proud Nonno to Drake and Clara. Predeceased by sisters Carmela (Filippo), Ciccina (Biagio), Angelina(Nicola), Maria(Andrea), Santina and brothers Francesco, and Peppino. Loving and respected brother-in-law of Paul, Antonio, Peppino,  Pasqua, Santino, Franca and Carmen of the Greater Metro Toronto area and Pina, Lino and Vitoria in Italy. Carmelo lived in laughter and in love of family and friends. Carmelo’s greatest joy were his grandchildren. He had a passion for nature/gardening. Carmelo was a hard worker and business partner of Pirri’s Centennial Fruit Market for over 25 years. He will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten. Your thoughts, support and kindness are truly appreciated during this time of sorrow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Carmelo Isgro can be made to an Association of your own choosing.
