elevated sgwtU Obituary
It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carmelo Magno on November 7, 2024, at the age of 88. Carmelo was a great man who cared and loved to spend time with his family and friends, always enjoyed a great game of cards, and loved to sing with his beautiful tenor voice. He will be missed by many, especially his loving wife, Anna Maria, sons Giovanni, Frank, and Carlo, stepdaughters Rina, Josie, SallyAnn, and Luisa, son-in laws, daughter- in laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
elevated sgwtU Born in Pachino, Italy on October 1st, 1936, to parents Giovanni and Maria Magno, Carmelo then immigrated to Canada in the 1950s to support his family and build his own family thereafter. He will be missed by all and be our forever guardian angel. May he now rest in eternal peace and shine his love down upon us.

Our hearts are with Uncle Carmelo’s family during this time of loss. I deeply regret that, with the short notice, I couldn’t rearrange my work commitments to be there in person. Please know that we are with you in spirit, honouring his memory and keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Anna….our deepest condolences.
We would like to extend to the entire Magno family our heartfelt condolences.
I’m saddened by the sorrowful news of Carmelo’s passing. My deepest condolences for Carmelo’s children, their families all relatives here and in Pachino and for Anna.
Allow me a few words to reminisce: our mothers were related and we grew up appreciating their closeness and respect for each other. I remember the many memorable festivities together with the Olindo, the Magno, the Magri, the Tropiano and us children having fun, until Carmelo and my brother Peppe to spoil our good time. We continued the tradition in Canada for many years, it was wonderful until death took our loved ones.
May the memories be a blessing for Carmelo’s peaceful rest.
