elevated Mjp6B Caterina Fazzone, born in Dragoni, Italy,on February 3, 1933 and  passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 30th, 2021 at the age of 88 after a brief battle with cancer.

elevated Mjp6B She is now reunited with her beloved husband Giuseppe. Caterina will be dearly missed and forever cherished by her daughter Anna and son-in-law Ernie, grandchildren Tatiana (Adam) and Joseph (Sabrina).  In her final weeks, she became a very proud great-grandmother to Walter.  Their lives won’t be the same without her, she will live on in their memories forever.

elevated Mjp6B Caterina was predeceased by her brothers Aniello, Giuseppe, Carlo and Ferdinando. Loving sister to Rosa, Maria and brother Alberto and sister-in-law to Elvira and many nieces and nephews who will all miss her companionship. She was a cherished in-law, aunt, friend, confidant, and Neighbour to many.

elevated Mjp6B Caterina was a lively and positive individual throughout her life and carried her youthful spirit well into her final years.  Her zest for life was infectious and inspiring.  She was always an active member of her community and made many friends throughout her years, a social butterfly right up until the end.  Caterina was a passionate person and had many hobbies, she always kept herself busy.  If she wasn’t spending time with her family and friends or talking to them on the phone, you could find her at a mass, tending to her beautiful garden, out for a stroll, knitting or crocheting, or baking cookies to share with all.  Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, she was a dedicated member of her parish.

elevated Mjp6B Caterina will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her and will remain forever in their hearts.

elevated Mjp6B Caterina’s family would like to thank all the family, friends, and community members near and far who are unable to be with them during this difficult time. The family is comforted by the many kind words, thoughts, and prayers received.

elevated Mjp6B Ora è riunita con il suo amato marito Giuseppe. Caterina mancherà molto e sarà sempre amata dalla figlia Anna e dal genero Ernie, dai nipoti Tatiana (Adam) e Joseph (Sabrina). Nelle sue ultime settimane, è diventata una bisnonna molto orgogliosa di Walter. Le loro vite non saranno le stesse senza di lei, lei vivrà nei loro ricordi per sempre.

elevated Mjp6B Caterina fu premorta dai suoi fratelli Aniello, Giuseppe, Carlo e Ferdinando. Amorevole sorella di Rosa, Maria e fratello Alberto e cognata di Elvira e tante nipoti a cui mancherà la sua compagnia. Era una cara suocera, zia, amica, confidente e vicina di casa per molti.

elevated Mjp6B Caterina è stata una persona vivace e positiva per tutta la vita e ha portato il suo spirito giovanile fino agli ultimi anni. La sua gioia di vivere era contagiosa e stimolante. È sempre stata un membro attivo della sua comunità e ha fatto molti amici durante i suoi anni, una farfalla sociale fino alla fine. Caterina era una persona appassionata e aveva molti hobby, si teneva sempre impegnata. Se non passava il tempo con la famiglia e gli amici o non parlava con loro al telefono, potresti trovarla a una messa, intenta a curare il suo bellissimo giardino, a fare una passeggiata, a lavorare a maglia o all’uncinetto o a cucinare biscotti da condividere con tutti . La sua fede era una pietra angolare della sua vita, era un membro devoto della sua parrocchia.
