It is rare that couples pass on to eternal life so close together. Cecil and Mavis did exactly that. Their lives were uniquely tied together at the age of 22 when they exchanged their matrimonial vows of till death do us apart. That earthly journey of bliss lasted for 70 years until Cecil passed and Mavis joined him 4 days later.
When Rufina Charles heard of Cecil’s passing all she could recall were the fond memories of him working as a Customs Officer in Roseau when he would always be helping her in the clearance of merchandise while working for Damascus store at 18 Cork Street in Roseau.
May the souls of these 2 love birds rest in eternal peace.
