elevated iQuXV It is with great sadness, but gratitude for a well lived life, the Chan family announces the passing into the Lord’s hands of CHEN WONG So Chun (Mary) at the age of 92 years in her sleep on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Predeceased by her husband CHEN Che Hoi (Joseph). Cherished mother of Stephen (Yvonne), Stella Ng (Frederick), Helen and Anne. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandsons Matthew and Christopher. Our mother, grandmother lived her life by example, with humility and kindness to everyone she met. We are all blessed by her love, wisdom and unconditional sacrifice towards her family. In memory of CHEN WONG So Chun and in lieu of flowers, donations to Chinese Martyr Catholic Church (‘CMCC Building Fund’) or the Scarborough Health Network – Birchmount Division (Palliative) would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the compassionate physician and nurses at Scarborough Grace Hospital.
When I think of Aunti, I always remember her smiley face. She was a kind and gentle person and she will be greatly missed! May she rest in peace!
Yasmin and I are sorry that we will not be in Canada to pay our respects personally to Stella, Frederick, Stephen, Yvonne, Helen, Anne and the rest of the family. Our thoughts will be with all of you. RIP from Paris
[02-21, 6:01 AM] pollie Chu: To My Dearest Auntie “Chen Wong So Chun”
When I knew you were resting in the hands of God and reunited with your lovely husband, we really missed you very much but we understood that this is part of life.
My mom grew up with you closely in the village both loved each other like real sisters,
You are intelligent and so gentle and nice and always exerted extra efforts to take good care of your family members.
Since your migration to Canada, you did come back to Hong Kong to visit us several times, to have good time with us. Later, uncle Joseph passed away, you came back few times to visit my mom. We appreciated very much your friendship. You were always in our mind. From your niece Pollie Luk with Love
Dear Stephen(Yvonne) Stella Ng(Frederick) Helen and Anne
