elevated 2hmLj God called Concetta Ritacca peacefully on July 13, 2024 at the age of 96. She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband Michele, son Frank and great grandson Andreas. Cherished by her dear children Annette (Giovanni) and daughter-in-law Teresa. Proud nonna to Marida (Loreto), Joe (Maddalena), Connie (Paul) and Mike (Tonia). Adored bisnonna to Massimo, Jordan, Cristian, Lia, Victor, John Gregory and Ava. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and many friends.

Ill always remember Nonna Concetta for her warmth, lovely talks, tiny meatball lasagna and love for her grand and great grandchildren. May she rest in peace. We will always remember her and her legacy will live on thru her family. Xo
Nonna was everyone’s Nonna back in high school. I will always have such fond memories of her telling us to go to church, to eat more and laughing at our 90s music and fashion. Later, I had memories of her holding baby Cristian and Lia in her arms, then teaching them how to grow tomatoes. I remember so clearly how happy she was when I told her I got married – telling me she didn’t want me to be alone in this life. Nonna gave to everyone and never wanted anything in return – may we all learn from her selflessness. Rest in peace Nonna – you will be missed.
My lovely next door neighbor of 46 years was like a mother to me. She knew I understood her, no matter if she was speaking to me in English or Italian (I had to constantly remind her “Connie, English please. I don’t speak Italian”. She was one of the strongest women I have ever met. She loved her kitchen and always had a rag in her hand, wiping down anything and everything. She will be missed.
We will miss Zia Concetta so very much. I only have fond memories of her and nana growing up. She always had great advice and an infectious laugh. We know they are all together in heaven laughing and eating at the kitchen table. Love Joe and Rita Cosentino and Family
