elevated o7RQr It is with profound sadness that the family of David Nicodemio Tavares announces his passing after a battle with cancer on Wednesday January 13, 2021, at the age of 73 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anna and his children Daniel (Cheryl), Tracy and Michael (Melissa). David will also be sadly missed by his seven grandchildren, Ethan, Sienna, Charlotte, Christian, Jacob, Arya and Ryan, and by his sisters Cremilde, Aurelia (Joe), Lucy (Sebastian) and brother Daniel (Lucia), by his mother-in-law Bianca and sisters-in-law Tina and Adrian (Mel). He was a very special man and will always be remembered for his kindness, charismatic personality, and incredible aptitude for business. Thank you for the memories.
elevated o7RQr A private mass service will be held on Monday January 18, 2021 at 9:00am. Private entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the David Tavares Tribute Fund in memory of David.

You were a wonderful father-in-law. I was so fortunate to able to know you and spend time with you over the past 20 years. I will miss walking into your home and being greeted with a warm smile and a “Hi good lookin!”
Your grandchildren adore you and they miss you immensely. Your son Michael is heartbroken, he has lost his hero. You have left a huge hole in our family. But your legacy will live on in your family and in the hearts of all those you’ve touched.
In our saddest, darkest moments, we will take comfort in the fact that we are only separated for a short time.
Until we meet again.

David was a true Leader with a big heart, someone who listened, someone you can count on, someone who uplifted others, someone who believed in you when no one else did, all while remaining true to himself-he never wavered from who he was, most of all he was genuine, kind and caring of others.

I’ve just learned of your passing David…you were an amazing part of my life many many years ago. I still remember you buying that crazy horse from auction because her name was danielle – I still tell that story…I can’t imagine how heartbroken Mike and Danny are – I’m thankful they have such loving wives to keep them strong.
