elevated L0p5q Obituary
elevated L0p5q It is with great sadness that the family of Denise Dussault announces her passing on Thursday November 23rd 2023, at the age of 95 years. Born in Quebec City, Denise graduated from Laval University and moved to Toronto where she would meet her husband of nearly 70 years, a fellow Quebecois, Jacques Dussault.
elevated L0p5q Devoted wife, loving mother to Nicole and Diane (Ed), adoring and proud Granny to Derek (Angela), Andrew (Erin), Christina (Rob) and Matthew. Denise had a sharp mind and an unending curiosity which led her to many pursuits. She was an accomplished painter of Chinese watercolors, an avid golfer at The Summit and Briars clubs and summers spent at La Malbaie, an expert bridge player, an excellent cook, and lover of the Arts. Denise was a member of the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club for 60 years where she enjoyed many activities and made life-long friendships.
elevated L0p5q Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She spent as much time as possible with each grandchild especially when they were young. We will remember the many family gatherings around her beautifully set table, her delicious meals, and how happy she was to be with all of us.
elevated L0p5q Denise embodied grace and dignity, showed us that actions speak louder than words, that learning never ends, and to give everything you can to your passions and relationships.
elevated L0p5q “Timeless elegance is not about being noticed it is about being remembered”.

A gracious lady and wonderful friend. We were sustained during Covid and on by regular bridge sessions and her company! Denise was so capable in many areas and always made wonderful contributions to each gathering. A real center of strength to her family! So lucky to have known her and had many enjoyable times together over the years! Recalling happy Muskoka times with the aid of Denise’s photo album of her carefully selected
candid pictures.
Denise was a beautiful person inside and out. Loving her children and grand children more than life itself. I am sustained with wonderful memories from childhood Halloween play sleep overs at the Dussault household, the best Coq au vin imaginable, inspiring artwork and many great books to share in the later years. I wish Nicole, Diane, Christina, Matthew, Derek, Andrew and all the family and friends who loved Denise, peace in their hearts, with time.
Love Rose
Denise was a very dear friend, and we spent many lunches together at the Cricket Club followed by playing bridge together. She was a loving and caring woman who adored her husband and family. She was very talented, and I greatly appreciated her art creations. My sincere condolences to the family on the loss of such a wonderful woman.
