To my dear friend Denny. How I will miss your wit, your music, your love of life and your ability to make the best martini. Bless you and know that we’ll take care of your lovely Rosita. The next big bass I catch is for you. Know that your legacy will live on forever.
Marcelle, George and family.
As today is Valentine’s Day, and yesterday we said goodbye to a dear friend the following Corinthians bible verse comes to mind:
“Love is patient, love is kind.”
This is Denny the man we know and loved. The love Denny and Rose shared was magical. I loved hearing Rose, the way she would call your name when we spent time at the cottage. You always responded with such grace and a smile.
I enjoyed the ventures we took, finding restaurants in the middle of nowhere and yet Denny understood that I enjoyed the countryside.
The last day at your home and in visiting with you, you showed such strength and something I will cherish was, you were directing a waltz as as send off for me as I was leaving.
I will miss you at the table, you were always grateful for the people around you and always graciously expressing your love for us.
Denny when I look up to the sky, I will always remember your “spirit in the sky”.
“Faith, Hope and Love”. you have given us the greatest gift of “love”! And to this Thank You for the loving time you spent with us.
