elevated 1E8R0 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Deodata Maria Ferreira on April 3, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on the island of Pico in the Azores, on January 10, 1939, Deodata immigrated with her parents and three sisters in 1959 to the United States eventually settling in Hudson, Massachusetts. In 1963, she married José Manuel Ferreira and immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada to start a family. Together they raised three children.

elevated 1E8R0 Deodata is now reunited with her beloved late husband José Manuel. She was the cherished mother of Geraldo (Karen), Gloria (Danny) and José. While she loved to crochet and bake, her greatest joy was being a devoted and proud vovó, spending time with her grandchildren: Adrian, Krista, Ethan, Emily & Jayme. She was a dear sister to Fatima, Aldora and the late Isilda, and a treasured Tia to many nieces and nephews. Her gentle and loving disposition, and kind smile will be missed by all who knew her.
