elevated Yordm Doreen will be remembered for her long and distinguished career as a volunteer. Whether she had children at home to care for or later in life, Doreen actively served with the Home and School Association, United Way of Toronto as area captain, Meals on Wheels and, for many years, as a library assistant at Lillian Public School. She also canvassed door-to-door for countless charities. In addition to the many hours of community service she was able to give, Doreen took advantage of these opportunities to meet people, make friends and enjoy herself. She truly was a people-person.
elevated Yordm The world is diminished by the absence of her smile and laughter. May she find a bowling team in the after-life to keep her happy and busy!

We had the pleasure of meeting your mother on two occasions. She radiated warmth and interest in what was going on around her. We know she will be greatly missed and our condolences to all her family. May her memory be blessed.
I would like to say a few words to convey my profound, and deep sadness at the loss of my baby sister. It is very hard to put into words how grief stricken I feel to lose her. To know someone for 90 years is truly a gift and an honor for which I am deeply grateful. I will forever miss my sister and love and cherish her memory always.
May her children Diana and wife Karen, Gail and husband Maarten, Brian and wife Chris, grandchildren, and great grandchildren remember her as the vibrant shining light she was and may they keep her memory close to their hearts.
May she rest in peace.
All my love, Shirley
I will always remember my Auntie Doreen as smiling, laughing and full of life. She was never at a loss for a story to tell and always had time for a chat. Mostly, I remember she was so much fun to be around whether it was a gathering at Christmas when we were all young, or a trip together to the CNE. She loved giving back to the community with her long and varied volunteer service and I’m sure she helped so many people along the way. She loved people and was truly a people person in the deepest sense. I’m sure she touched many lives and made them brighter having knew her.
I’m lucky and grateful she was my aunt. I will remember he always, but mostly I will remember her laugh. Bless her heart.
May she rest in peace.

A beautiful lady with very blue eyes Our fondest memory of Doreen is when Chris,Brian and Victoria would bring her down to Toronto Signals Christmas Party for family.at the Armory . After the concert we would go up to the Mess for more seasonal music and Doreen would join in singing the Christmas Carols and enjoy some Christmas Cheer!! A truly wonderful lady. Ann & Joe Watson She will be missed
Will miss you so much Grandma.
Doreen was a dear friend for over 30 years. We shared stories through ups and downs in our lives, always remaining supportive and loyal to each other. Whenever we were together we were both good talkers but good listeners as well!
I’ll miss Doreen immensely but the memories we shared will remain in my heart forever. I extend my deepest condolences to Doreen’s children and their extended families. She adored all of you.

While my husband Glenn certainly had the pleasure of knowing Doreen for many more years than I, we both thought very highly of this bubbly, kind, joyous woman. You couldn’t help but smile in her presence.
She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Our thought are with you Brian, Chris, Victoria and all of Sepejak family. xo
