Uncle Lenny was such a pure, special soul, he was always such a joy to be around and such a great Uncle. His dry, wry sense of humor was unmatched. One of my best memories included being at his home and made to read the book with Guyanese proverbs in my Trini accent and then saying what I thought it meant. You were so loved Uncle Lenny…rest in perfect, eternal peace. Lots of hugs and love to Auntie Shanta, Mark, Andrea, Jasmine and Oscar.

Friends since 1967, playing cricket on the seawall foreshore on Sundays, to QC labs, UG and thereafter. Great memories, no regrets. Rest in peace old friend.
Uncle Lenny will always be special in my heart and the rest of his brother Buddy’s children heart. Uncle Lenny was very gentle, loving and pleasant in every way towards us. He is now home in the arms of Jesus in Heaven, very happy. Ours sincere condolences to Aunty Shanta, Mark, Andrea, Jasmine, Oskar and the rest of the family and friends. Our love to all of you at this time.

Condolences to Shanta, Mark, Andrea and family on your loss. Lenny was a friend, mentor, colleague and boss (GPC days) who will be remembered as a caring, compassionate and fun person always willing to share his knowledge with others. I will fondly remember the “cook-ups” on Fridays in the UG Chemistry Lab where I had my first “drinks”. Rest In Peace, my friend!

On behalf of myself and colleagues at Silliker (Diversified Research), I want to express our sincere sadness at the passing of Lionel. He was a great boss and always ready to crack a joke. My condolences to Shanta, Andrea, Mark and family.
We were all better for having Uncle Lenny in our lives. Gentle, unassuming, truly brilliant, funny, and most of all appreciative of what is important in life. I am so glad Uncle Lenny lived his life to the fullest and did all the things he wanted to do with his family. I’ll never hear your laugh again and no one will ever call me Cat Weasel! Rest in peace.
Great loss, great soul and a great boss at GPC. Under his leadership we were mentor well. Our sincere condolences to the family. May the soul RIP
My condolences to Shanta, Mark, Andrea and family. I first met Lenny in 1970 at the University of Guyana.Lenny as a great friend, mentor and colleague. I remember the good times we had in the chemistry lab playing dominoes, cards, making jamoon wine, pepperine (margerine plus pepper sauce) fried chicken and cook-up. We used to enjoy going to Bourda cricket ground to see test match cricket, he was a fan of cricket. Lenny was a brilliant chemist, earning his PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry. Lenny, you will be remembered for your simplicity, humility and, the respect and caring you displayed for your students when you were a lecturer at the University of Guyana. Your laughter, jokes and wittiness will be missed.
Travel safe my dear friend.
Deepest condolences to Mark and Andrea. I did not have the privilege to know Dr. Subryan but if his echo carries on through his son then that is the greatest compliment I can give. Deepest condolences.
Rest in peace my special Brother. I will miss you. My deepest sympathy to Shanta, Mark, Andrea, Jasmine and Oscar.
