elevated NSGlw God called Duarte peacefully on March 5, 2025 at the age of 74. Duarte will always be remembered by his loving wife Liliana. He will be reunited with his loving parents Duarte and Maria, along with 3 of his siblings, in heaven. Duarte will be deeply missed by his children Dean and Lynda (David) and is survived by his other 3 siblings. A proud grandfather to Brooklyn, James, and William. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. You could see by the smile on his face how much joy they brought to his life. 

elevated NSGlw Duarte grew up in Calhetas, Sao Miguel, exploring and swimming in the natural pools of the Atlantic ocean. His love for the outdoors continued when he moved to Canada. He spent countless hours on the water, fishing, swimming and discovering new areas. He found joy and peace in nature and loved sharing his passion with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
