Over the past 30 years Liza and I have worked together many times, up until our retirements. It was a pleasure to work with Liza and to call her my friend. We had many chats both at work and on our daily walk to the Go train. I know that she had much love for her family and I am thinking of you during this sad time.

I am very sorry to hear of Liza’s passing. She has touched all of us- her friends, collegues and clients with her kindness and goodness. I, as many will miss our often daily coffee repose that we had at Metrohall and Yonge & Eg. I will always remember you with your beautifully coiffed hair and impecably stylish outfits and most of all your lovely warm smile and easy laughter. Rest In Peace Liza. My deepest sympathies to you loved ones.
Liza – always a bright and ready smile. Frequent and hearty laughter. Showing care and kindness towards everyone along her path… May she rest in eternal peace. May her husband and loved ones find some comfort.
Like so many of us, I was stunned to hear of Liza’s death. I did not know she was fighting the final battle. Bumping into Liza during our busy days at the office was always a positive experience for me. She always seemed to be in a good mood. I was fortunate to share many enjoyable coffee breaks with her as well. We also had many serious discussions together about how to master the new and very challenging computer program that we were obliged to work with—all good memories. I am at an advanced age when the passing of friends and family begins to become a more frequent occurrence but Liza went too soon. Bon voyage good lady.
Very sad to hear the news that Liza passed away. She was a very genuine person and a pleasure to work with! My thoughts go out to her family, her loved ones, and to TESS who adored her for many decades. Liza will be sadly missed, but never forgotten; RIP and God bless your Soul Liza!!
Knowing you makes anyone a better person. Couldn’t believe that you are not coming back but you remain in our thoughts for ever Liza. You always talked about trips and this became the last one. Miss you very much. May the family get needed comfort believing she is in a better place.
So sorry to hear of Liza’s passing. Just when she was ready to enjoy retirement. She always had a kind word and a smile to brighten your day. She has amazing fashion sense and always looked so pulled together and beautiful. My condolences to her family at this sorrowful time. She was taken from this earth way too soon.
My sincerest condolences to Liza’s family at this most difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Liza as a caseworker at Yonge-Eglinton in 1994/1995. We were teammates and Liza always brought a smile and warmth to the office. I also was blessed by maintaining my friendship with Liza after I left that office. She will always be remembered as a kind and generous individual.
With warm memories and fondness may you rock those high heels in heaven Lisa.

I’m still in a loss for words realizing our dear Liza is gone, but we know her spirit is around…
Dear Liza,
You were so sweet and special as my sister inlaw,
playing and looking after baby. Ma-an from 5 decades ago !
And sometime in 2013 we crossed paths at St Patrick’s Church, Niagara Falls where
I met your caring husband Lui !! That was a unforgettable encounter…
Thank you for your kindness in sharing your world a bit.
I cherish you, I love you too
dearest Liza 🙏🏻…..
So sad to hear of Liza’s passing.Condolences to her family members. She was loved and she will be missed.
It is with a heavy heart that I bid goodbye to you, my dear friend Lisa.
Classmates at St. Scholastica’s College in Manila, close friends here in Canada — our shared lives and experiences had forged a deep friendship between us and our families. We thought it would last forever but we were wrong. Your departure is testament to how fleeting life could be and how we must enjoy it while we have the chance. In that respect, I admire the way you faced your health predicament with courage and tenacity. As we commiserate with Lui, we know my family and I will miss you. Farewell …
My deepest sympathies to Lui, Susan, Isidro, and family. Liza was a gentle soul. Generous with her smile, support, time, and kind words to everyone she knew or met. Our world is less joyful, less special, and less bright without her. I will miss you Liza.
Liza, your light will always shine. I will miss you and will always remember your kindness. Everyday I look at the mug you gave me that says “Grateful” as a reminder to always be thankful and cherish my family and friends. I will always remember you for your love of Christmas and will add a special star on my tree in memory of you. My heart goes out to your family. I know you cherished them and devoted yourself to you husband. This world is a little less bright without you. Rest in Peace my friend until we see each other again.
My deepest condolenses to the family of Liza. She was always kind., always beautifully ensumbled. I will never forget you. May you rest in peace dear Liza.
My condolence to the family on the passing of our dear beloved Liza. A beautiful soul has left us but will not be forgotten. It was a pleasure working with Liza at Metro Hall, an angel who lights up the room. RIP my friend.
Condolences and sadness at the loss of a beautiful and inspiring soul.
My Deepest Condolences
My dearest Liza, u left us all of sudden however, I know you are now with the angels and saints and God almighty, God bless.
Prayers for you now and forever, we miss and love you very much.
Please watch over us, till then.
It’s been over a month, and I still can’t believe you’re gone. It feels unreal, like you’re just on vacation or out of reach for a little while—but then reality hits again. I keep thinking about all the things I wish I could tell you, all the little updates I know would make you smile. You always knew how to celebrate even the smallest victories, and I miss sharing those moments with you more than words can say.
I miss you so much, and I’ll always be grateful for a friendship since the Metro Hall days. You cared so deeply—not just about our clients, but about everyone in your life. You were always so full of love for your family and friends. I will forever treasure our lunch break walks to the Eaton Centre, our long chats in the Path, the spontaneous outlet mall trips, and cheering during soccer matches or dancing at the Italifest music festivals. You had such a unique way of making every moment feel special, and your style—oh, your style!—was unmatched. You always knew how to find the perfect outfit and an even better deal.
You left a mark on everyone you met, and your kindness and warmth continue to inspire me every day. If I could, I’d give anything for one more conversation with you, to hear your advice, your laughter, and that unmistakable joy you brought to life.
You’ll always have a special place in my heart, and I’ll cheer for Italy a little louder just for you—though I know you’d still be rooting for Brazil or Spain. Rest peacefully, my dear friend. You are so deeply, painfully missed. ❤️
