elevated QgqUk Eric Daniel Fortin-McDonald, loving brother of Leif McDonald and dedicated father to London McDonald, died unexpectedly on May 14, 2023, in his home in Mississauga, Ontario. Eric was born on August 5, 1984. Everyone who met Eric fell in love with his infectious smile and his overwhelming charm. He had such a passion for life and always challenged himself whether it be through his workouts, paintballing, rock climbing or skydiving – Eric loved the thrill and adventure of it all. One of his first loves was music – even deejaying years earlier. Eric would listen to music in the car and belt out the lyrics, not caring who was around or what anyone thought. Eric loved to travel. He talked about moving to Jamaica and waking up every day with a view to the beach. This was his “perfect serenity”. Eric will be sadly missed by many friends and extended family.

I’m very sad that you’re gone so early, Eric. I remember you as a beaver and cub and recall running into you from time to time when I used to live on Rathburn. Find comfort, in knowing that I’ll remain in your brother Leif’s life for as long as he wants me to. R.I.P Eric.
