It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife/mother, Eva Jay, who left us on July 2nd, 2024, at 86 years of age. Eva was born on May 28, 1938 in Hong Kong and came to the US and Canada in her early years. She had a passion for the arts, classical music and ballet. She loved watching tennis and the companion of her cats. Eva loved knitting and had a yarn store named Evalaine and more than anything, she loved her family, which was her pride and joy.
elevated iasVE Eva is survived by her husband, Calvin Jay and her daughter, Candice Jay (David Lam). She will be deeply missed by her many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins and nephews and nieces and grand-nephews and grand-nieces and all who knew her.

I will miss Auntie’s kindness and smile, and her love for all, including animals. She lived with zest and adventure, taking interest in culture and craft, and she loved her family and relatives immensely and I was lucky to be part of that. Her lively nature, presence, determination, and humour will be dearly missed.
