elevated IjdJ5 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Federico (Pedring) Cruz. God called Federico home on Sunday, June 9, 2024 and he passed away peacefully at Baycrest Hospital.
elevated IjdJ5 Beloved husband of Aurelia Padilla Cruz (deceased 2003). Federico is survived by his sister Leonila Cruz. Loving Tatay (father) to his four children: Ferdinand (Liza), Josephine (Joselito), George (Jaime), and Michael (Cathey). Beloved Lolo of Ronald (Jessielyn), Lynnette (Jordan), Kimberly (Zygmon), Daniel, Meaghan and Matthew. Great-Lolo to Cruz, Kylie, Chloe and Eloise.
elevated IjdJ5 Federico left his dental practice and the Philippines, the country he called home to immigrate and settle his family in Canada in 1971. Since then, North York was the place where he found community and began to call home. Federico’s circle of family and friends was as deep as it was wide. He spent his time in good company and enjoying his hobbies of fishing, gardening and dancing. Known for his youthful spirit and inviting sense of humour, he could easily befriend people of all ages. Federico and Aurelia raised a tightly knit family who was a source of great comfort to him when Aurelia passed away in 2003. Despite the difficulty of this loss, Federico took life in good stride and had love and joy in his heart enough for himself and his late wife for each new addition to their legacy; which now includes six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
elevated IjdJ5 He will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by his extended family and friends, in Canada and the Philippines.

I will forever treasure Tata Pidreng’s
memories in my heart. As sad as it to accept that your gone but i know that you are now happy in the arms of our Lord Almigthy and now together with your beloved wife Nanang Auring and parents Inang Cosang, Anda Asyong. You will also be reunited with your siblings who has parted with us.
You will always be in my prayers and let perpetual light shine upon you and may you rest in peace..i love you Tata Pidreng.
