elevated ty1N9 Obituary Francesco Leone passed away on October 3, 2023 after celebrating his 88th birthday.

elevated ty1N9 Born on October 2, 1935, in Broccostella, Frosinone, Italy, he was the son of Nicola and Giuseppa, the oldest of five siblings Santina, Antonio, Loreto (Maria), and Rosetta.

elevated ty1N9 He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bianca, and his daughters and their partners, Donata  (Walter), Patrizia (Tony), and Ornella Pamela (Steven). He was a proud Nonno to his seven grandchildren Anthony (Bridget), Christina (Alex), Giancarlo (Lindsey), Nadia (Daniel), Matthew (Carling), Marissa, and Vanessa, and his four great grandchildren Ava, Alessio, Valerie, and Matteo, and his large extended family.

elevated ty1N9 He served in Marina Militare for two years and progressed through the military ranks. He then immigrated to Canada by sea on the Michaelangelo in August 1966 with his wife and two daughters before growing his family with a third daughter in December that year.

elevated ty1N9 He was a master of sport shooting, hunting, botany, and fishing. As a member of the Toronto International Trap and Skeet club for over 50 years, he won numerous trophies and accolades and was highly respected among his peers. He passed this passion on to his loving family who followed in his footsteps.

elevated ty1N9 He was a certified radio and TV technician, before becoming a concrete finisher to exercise his sporting passions on the weekends with family.
